How to Open a Port in Windows Firewall

You are assumed to have administrator permission to do these steps.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Windows Firewall by clicking the Start button and in the search box, type firewall: click Windows Firewall with Advanced Security.

  2. In the left pane, click Inbound Rules. Follow the instructions in the New Inbound Rule wizard.

  3. In the right pane, click New Rule > Port > Specific local ports: 48080 > Allow the Connection > Check All > Enter applicable firewall name > Finish

After this, do the same steps for Outbound Rules and for the same port number. You might need to do the same for ports 43306 (MySQL) and 465 (Forgot Password) if needed.
