Merge germplasm

During data curation of imported germplasm and/or added locations in the distributed BMS implementation (i.e., a central database managed by several focal points). It is common to catch duplicate entries with different IDs for the same entity because names can be misspelled or have multiple spellings, especially across different cultures or national sources. Merge germplasm action allows the user to merge duplicated germplasm into a single one treating the associated lots, names, and descriptors accordingly.

Merge germplasm action requires specific permission under Manage germplasm. An admin user positioned in the Site Admin module can assign the permission.
