Sample List allows you to browse or search samples lists.

Once a list is selected, the Action menu offers options to:

  • Export List

  • Import Plate Information

Browse Lists

  • Select browse to see all samples lists in the BMS samples directory. Select the list of interest in the directory popup window. Close the popup window to review the sample list details.

Search Lists

  • Searches are not case-sensitive. Search for samples lists by partial name or an exact match.

  • Searches also can be done using partial or exact SAMPLE_UID.

  • Select a sample list. The list is opened behind the search list popup window. Close the popup window to review the list.

View Sample Lists

  • Select any column heading to sort the list in ascending order. Select column heading again to sort in descending order.

List Actions

Export List

The Sample list is exported in CSV format. The file is exported contains the following information: SAMPLE_ENTRY, DESIGNATION, SAMPLE_NAME, TAKEN_BY, SAMPLING_DATE, SAMPLE_UID, PLATE_ID, WELL, and GID.

Import List

Complete the Plate information and import the file.  The system loads all the headers for each combo box, select SAMPLE_ID, PLATE_ID, SAMPLE_UID

 

The PLATE_ID and WELL columns reflect the imported data in the corresponding sample list result table.

For a particular sample, we can look at it through the germplasm details popup
