Coefficient of Parentage Calculation is BETA functionality with known usability limitations. Expect to see improvements in future versions.
The main goal of this functionality is to be able to calculate the coefficient of parentage for a given set of germplasm. This coefficient in turn determines a measure of relatedness between germplasm by traversing their corresponding pedigree trees and recursively identifying the common ancestors.

A constant concern is narrow genetic base of breeding programs. This tool allows knowing the degree of genotypes kinship to make better decisions for our germplasm management.
